Dr. Steven G. Schock Scholarship <br>The purpose of the fund is to provide educational and/or research opportunities to students and/or faculty of the College of Engineering and Computer Science. The scholarship will be presented to a graduate student in the FAU College of Engineering and Computer Science who is pursuing an advanced degree in ocean engineering, electrical engineering, or computer science and has an interest in underwater acoustic technology with the intent of having a career in this field. This may include scientific research, design and development of instrumentation, or the application of the technology to address known or future needs. In addition to the award, the candidate may have the opportunity to receive a paid semester-long internship at EdgeTech in Boca Raton, FL (per signed gift agreement 2011).
